Liability Waiver & Risk Disclosure
Travel in the high Himalayas carries real, inherent risk. This document explains what those risks are and what each side is responsible for — please read it before booking.
1. Why we publish this
Honesty about risk is part of how we operate. Mountain travel — especially in remote regions like Zanskar, Spiti, Ladakh and the high Himalayan passes — carries inherent dangers that no operator can fully eliminate. This document spells out the risks involved, what we do to mitigate them, and what's expected of you.

- Our maximum liability for any claim is capped at the amount paid for the specific service in question.
- We don't issue automatic refunds or compensation for unforeseen circumstances.
5. Third-party providers
Many on-the-ground services — hotels, drivers, paragliding operators, river-rafting outfits — are run by independent local businesses. We choose them carefully and only work with operators we trust, but we don't directly control their operations and aren't liable for their actions.
