Best fit

A practical Hanle room with the night sky built into the experience.

Crane Resort combines the essentials needed after a long Changthang drive with one of Hanle's strongest reasons to stay overnight: low-light skies and telescope access when conditions allow.

Best for stargazers

Choose this when the Hanle night sky and a possible telescope session are a key part of the route.

Good for Changthang routes

A practical overnight base for Hanle, Umling La, Tso Moriri and wider remote Ladakh circuits.

Confirm remote-stay essentials

Hot water, heating, electricity, telescope timing and exact meal service should be reconfirmed for your dates.
