Begin with two nights in Leh for acclimatisation at The Grand Dragon Ladakh, Chospa or The Abduz, as confirmed in your proposal. Continue to Mangyu Lodge or House of Rumbak for five nights and four full wildlife tracking days with local specialists. One wildlife base is selected for your dates, safe access and availability; these are alternatives, not two guaranteed stays. Return to Leh for a final hotel night before departure. This nine-day expedition starts and ends at Leh Airport. Delhi stays and flights are excluded. The written proposal confirms the lodge, room category, heating, bathroom arrangements, meals and tracking services before payment. Sightings are never guaranteed.

Leh options are The Grand Dragon Ladakh, Chospa or The Abduz. The wildlife base is Mangyu Lodge or House of Rumbak. One lodge is selected according to your dates, route and availability; the written proposal confirms properties, room categories, heating and bathroom facilities before payment. Photos are reference photographs.
Are Delhi stays or flights included?
No. This expedition starts and ends at Leh Airport. Delhi accommodation, Delhi transfers and flights to and from Leh are excluded.
Is a snow leopard sighting guaranteed?
No. We observe wild animals in their natural habitat without baiting, chasing or staging encounters. Wildlife movement, weather and safe access shape the search.
Is this expedition suitable for me?
Expect high altitude, winter cold, uneven or snowy ground and long stationary observation periods. Share mobility needs before booking. Arrange suitable high-altitude travel insurance and seek medical advice for relevant health concerns before travel.
Can I book a private expedition?
Yes. Couples, photographers, families and private groups can enquire about custom dates, field time and accommodation needs. How much field time is included?
Days 4–7 are four full wildlife tracking days. The eight nights comprise three in Leh and five at the selected Mangyu or Rumbak wildlife base.
Can I choose the wildlife lodge?
Tell us your preference for Mangyu Lodge or House of Rumbak. Availability, winter access and the confirmed route determine the allocation; lodge changes and additional services are quoted in your proposal.
