Day 1: Arrive. Let the pace change.
Your local driver welcomes you at Kangra Airport for a private transfer to McLeod Ganj. Settle in before an evening drive to Naddi Sunset Point, subject to arrival time and weather. Return to your hotel for dinner. Delhi coach guests receive a coach-stop transfer and arrival breakfast; early check-in is subject to availability.

Day 2: Time inside a monastery.
Explore McLeod Ganj with your coordinator, visiting Bhagsu, the Dalai Lama Temple complex and St. John in the Wilderness Church. Walk through McLeod Bazaar and pause at a café of your choice. Your private monk-led mindfulness session and special mantra prayers inside a monastery last 60–90 minutes; the appointment shapes the day’s visit order. Explore mostly on foot, with short transfers as needed. Lunch and café purchases are separate. Return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 3: McLeod Ganj → Mountain Cottage | Hike up and stay overnight
Your private English-speaking local guide leads the walk from Bhagsu Square, via Bhagsu Waterfall and the forest, to your exclusive-use Mountain Cottage. A warm towel and herbal drink welcome you, followed by a late lunch of Bharmour-sourced rajma chawal or dal chawal with homemade ghee and seasonal accompaniments. Settle in and rest before your confirmed yoga or body-therapy appointment. Sunset yoga takes place together within your party; individual therapy appointments follow the agreed schedule. Before dinner, an optional 15–20-minute Mountain Kitchen conversation offers a closer look at a local dish. Seasonal siddu, evening snacks and a bonfire when conditions permit complete the evening. Rest and your chosen wellness experience take priority over additional activities. You sleep at the cottage tonight; Triund is tomorrow.

Day 4: Triund Hill & return | Active mountain day
After breakfast, walk with your private English-speaking local guide to Triund Hill, at around 2,875 m. Enjoy mountain views and your packed lunch on the ridge, weather permitting, before beginning the sustained descent to Bhagsu. Pause for tea and snacks at our guesthouse, then meet your private car for the transfer to Hotel Natraj or your confirmed hotel. Your team coordinates the overnight-bag transfer. Guests skipping the Triund ascent may enjoy a relaxed cottage morning and lunch; the cottage approach and return descent remain part of their journey. If your party chooses different walking plans, the coordinator confirms the separate escort and return arrangements before booking; any additional staffing cost is shown in the proposal.

Day 5: Tibetan art, tea gardens and a farewell Dham.
After breakfast, set out for a full day of private sightseeing: Norbulingka Institute, Shri Chamunda Devi Temple with arranged VIP darshan assistance, the Dharamshala tea garden viewpoint and HPCA cricket stadium. Your driver plans the visit order around opening hours, traffic and comfortable stops, with a break for lunch, charged separately. Your coordinator checks which stops matter most to you after the mountain day. You may shorten or skip a stop for rest or more hotel time; completing every stop is optional. Return to the hotel with time to freshen up before your farewell Himachali Dham. A short introduction to the dishes and traditional service brings the meal to life.

Day 6: Your journey home.
Breakfast and private Kangra Airport transfer timed around your flight. Delhi coach guests may store luggage at the hotel after checkout and explore McLeod Ganj cafes; your driver coordinates pickup for the Dharamshala boarding point. Late checkout is subject to availability. Departure-day lunch, dinner and cafe purchases are separate. The return coach departs between 7 and 9 pm, with Delhi arrival the following morning; exact schedule confirmed.

What does the Dharamshala and McLeodganj tour package cost?
The 6-day, 5-night retreat starts at ₹1,09,000 for two guests sharing one Natraj hotel room, or ₹1,69,000 for four guests sharing two hotel rooms. Both include one exclusive-use cottage night. Applicable taxes are extra; flights, ordinary sightseeing-day lunches and entrance charges are separate. Your dated quotation confirms availability and the final payable amount.
How do you personalise our retreat?
Before you pay a deposit, we discuss your dates, arrival arrangements, walking comfort, cottage facilities, room sharing and preferred wellness experience. Your proposal confirms the hotel and room category, appointments, complete price and booking terms. After booking, a pre-arrival call and WhatsApp summary reconfirm food preferences, allergies, luggage and timings.
Which vehicle is included for transfers?
Private airport transfers and scheduled sightseeing use a Toyota Innova Crysta or Toyota Fortuner with a local driver. Innova Crysta has seven or eight seats depending on the variant; Fortuner has seven seats. These totals include the driver. Your coordinator also requires a seat. Your quotation confirms the vehicle and seating arrangement according to guest numbers, coordinator seating, luggage and route requirements. Reference photographs do not guarantee a particular colour, model year, trim or equipment. The Mountain Cottage approach and Triund sections are on foot.
How much walking is involved on the Triund day?
An active mountain day: approximately 2.5 km / 2–2.5 hours uphill, followed by 1–2 hours on the ridge including lunch. Descend approximately 7 km to Bhagsu, allowing around four hours with breaks. Total walking is approximately 6–6.5 hours, plus ridge time. The guide agrees the start and turnaround timing around your pace, daylight and conditions. Hotel arrival is usually 6–7 pm, rather than a guaranteed time. The descent is sustained and includes uneven ground and steps; it is not an effortless walk. The Day 3 cottage approach is approximately 3.5 km / three hours. Your guide agrees a suitable pace with you.
Which hotel room is included?
The proposed McLeod Ganj stay is a Luxury Room with balcony at WelcomHeritage Natraj. Any comparable alternative is agreed with you before booking. Hyatt Regency and Radisson Blu are separately quoted alternatives; a gallery photograph does not guarantee a particular room or suite.
Who hosts the retreat?
Your assigned coordinator accompanies the retreat and hosts local sightseeing. A private English-speaking local trekking guide leads Days 3–4. Our team is also available by phone and WhatsApp 24/7. Separate walking plans, escort requirements and any additional staffing costs are agreed before payment.
Who is this private retreat best suited to?
Active couples and private parties of two to four who enjoy personal hosting and are comfortable with a rustic mountain stay, an approximately three-hour approach hike and a sustained return descent. Five or six guests are on request, with room sharing and an extra mattress for the sixth cottage guest agreed before booking. This is not a hotel-only or step-free retreat.
Are flights included?
This is a Kangra Airport-to-Airport package. Flights can be arranged separately on request, at the fare available when booking.
Can we travel from Delhi by Volvo?
Yes, add return Volvo 9600 travel with first-three-row seats and local transfers. Delhi departure is 9:30-10:30 pm before Day 1; Dharamshala return is 7-9 pm on Day 6. Exact schedules and seats confirmed. Arrival breakfast included; early check-in subject to availability. Five stay nights plus two coach nights.
What are the cottage facilities?

Can I skip Triund?
Yes. You may enjoy a relaxed cottage morning and lunch instead of the final Triund ascent, but the cottage approach and return descent remain necessary. If some guests hike to Triund while others return separately, we confirm escorts and return timings before booking. Any additional staffing cost is itemised in your proposal; independent descent is not assumed.
What wellness sessions are included?
Choose one 60–90-minute yoga or body-therapy session per guest at the cottage. Yoga is shared only within your party, preferably around sunset. Individual body-therapy appointments use separate agreed slots; they do not automatically take place together at sunset. The proposal confirms practitioner availability, any additional experts needed and your appointment schedule before payment. A Day 4 morning slot depends on the hiking timetable.
What luggage can the porter carry?
Up to 5 kg per guest to the mountain cottage and back. Main luggage remains securely at the hotel. Carry essentials, medication, valuables and water yourself. Extra porter weight requires prior agreement.
What happens if weather changes the programme?
Hiking, camping, bonfires and paragliding depend on weather and permissions. If the cottage approach is unsafe, we can arrange an additional Natraj hotel night and town-based wellness or another suitable local experience. The team agrees the revised plan with you and explains any price difference or refund under the terms of your written proposal before proceeding.
Can we extend the retreat?
Optional, separately priced extensions: Kangra Temple Trail, or Palampur, Baijnath and Bir Billing with a night at Colonels Resort Premium Wing/Super Deluxe or similar and weather-dependent tandem paragliding. Each adds one stay night to the complete retreat. Detailed proposals are available on request.
Which meals are included?
Breakfast on Days 2–6 and dinner on Days 1–5, including the Day 5 farewell Dham. Lunches, hiking energy kits and listed refreshments on Days 3–4 are included. Delhi coach guests also receive arrival breakfast on Day 1. Other lunches, café purchases, additional drinks and departure-day dinner are separate.
What is private during the retreat?
Your transfers, mountain cottage and arranged monk-led and wellness sessions are for your party. Staff have separate quarters within the cottage premises. Monasteries, temples and sightseeing venues may also welcome other visitors; the package does not include exclusive access to those venues.
What does the tea garden visit include?
A stop at the Dharamshala tea garden viewpoint to enjoy the scenery. Plantation-interior access, a factory tour and tea tasting are not included.
What elevations do we reach?
The Mountain Cottage area is approximately 2,300 m above sea level, based on published information for the surrounding area; the building height has not been surveyed. Triund is approximately 2,875 m. All elevations and trail distances are approximate.
How are payment, cancellation and date changes handled?
Your written proposal sets out the deposit and balance due dates, date-based cancellation charges, supplier-specific restrictions, date-change costs, no-show terms and any refund process before you pay. These depend on the confirmed booking; no blanket free-cancellation or fixed refund promise applies. Ask your coordinator to explain anything unclear before accepting the proposal.
What should we know before reserving the cottage?
The cottage is a rustic, exclusive-use mountain stay with two bedrooms, bukhari heating and solar lighting and charging. Western and Indian toilets are shared within your party, rather than private to each room. Hot water is provided for bucket bathing, rather than a hotel-style shower. Staff have separate quarters and washroom facilities within the private premises. We discuss these arrangements before a deposit.
Are taxes and sightseeing tickets included in the displayed price?
The displayed party prices exclude applicable package taxes. Your quotation itemises those taxes and confirms the final payable amount before payment. Sightseeing entrance tickets and venue charges are separate unless expressly included in the quotation. Flights and optional extensions are separate.
Which dates do the displayed prices cover?
The displayed prices are the base package prices for the stated party size and Natraj room arrangement. Your requested dates, hotel availability and any holiday or peak-date difference are confirmed in a dated written quotation. The quotation states how long the offer is valid; no rate is held until confirmed.
